Artists Biography

In my digital art, I like to look past the obvious to discover beauty in unusual places. As someone who grew up in a small, dying east coast town, inspirational urban decay was often overlooked, but I always found magic in the mundane. I grew up learning to make my voice heard, but what about those that can't speak for themselves? My art reminds me to pause and read between the lines, listen for the silence between sounds, and hope that I can bring this forth to my viewers as well. I like to think my east coast influences, along with my desire to approach taboo subjects, helped me to create the art that I produce.

Artists Statement

I am a graphic designer based in Coachella Valley. With a twist, my compositions are made up of stock and original photos of untamed, deserted, and abandoned buildings and spaces. In my work, images provoke sentiments of abandonment and loneliness are juxtaposed with hopeful messages. Morbid curiosity and growing up in a little east coast town have shaped the art I present. Through digital imaging and photography, I've sought to meld the reality and beauty of the plight of our planet as nature overcomes human misdeeds.
